It is important for all to know that the commands of Allah (Exalted be He) are for both men and women except what was specified with proof. The Book of Allah and the Sunnah of the Prophet mentioned certain rulings that are connected with men only and other rulings that are connected with women only for a great divine wisdom.
Men are the protectors and maintainers of women, because Allâh has made one of them to excel the other, and because they spend (to support them) from their means.
and live with them honourably.
And they (women) have rights (over their husbands as regards living expenses) similar (to those of their husbands) over them (as regards obedience and respect) to what is reasonable, but men have a degree (of responsibility) over them.
Whoever hears the call (Adhan) and he does not come (to offer the due Salah), then there is no valid Salah for him except with an excuse.
