When a man dies, his acts come to an end, but three, recurring charity, or knowledge (by which people) benefit, or a pious child who supplicates to Allah for him (for the deceased).
And those who say: "Our Lord! Bestow on us from our wives and our offspring the comfort of our eyes, and make us leaders of the Muttaqûn(the pious. See V.2:2)."
Those will be rewarded with the highest place (in Paradise) because of their patience. Therein they shall be met with the word of peace and respect Abiding therein excellent it is as an abode, and as a place to rest in.
It is not AlBirr (piety, righteousness, and each and every act of obedience to Allâh, etc.) that you turn your faces towards east and (or) west (in prayers); but AlBirr is (the quality of) the one who believes in Allâh, the Last Day, the Angels, the Book, the Prophets and gives his wealth, in spite of love for it, to the kinsfolk, to the orphans, and to AlMasâkîn (the poor), and to the wayfarer, and to those who ask, and to set slaves free, performs AsSalât (IqâmatasSalât ), and gives the Zakât, and who fulfil their covenant when they make it, and who are patient in extreme poverty and ailment (disease) and at the time of fighting (during the battles). Such are the people of the truth and they are AlMuttaqûn (the pious See V.2:2).
Say (O Muhammad ﺻﻠﻰ ﺍﷲ ﻋﻠﻴﻪ ﻭﺳﻠﻢ): "He is Allâh, (the) One. "AllâhusSamad (ﺍﻟﺴﻴﺪ ﺍﻟﺬﻱ ﻳﺼﻤﺪ ﺇﻟﻴﻪ ﻓﻲ ﺍﻟﺤﺎﺟـﺎﺕ) [Allâh the SelfSufficient Master, Whom all creatures need, (He neither eats nor drinks)]. "He begets not, nor was He begotten. "And there is none coequal or comparable unto Him."
After that, surely, you will die. Then (again), surely, you will be resurrected on the Day of Resurrection.
