As for the sixth malicious misconception, i.e. the claim that Muslims deify the Messenger (peace be upon him) by frequent conveying of peace and blessings upon him, we reply to this by saying that this is not considered a sort of deeming the Messenger of Allah (peace be upon him) as a god or worship of him. Rather it is worship and obedience to Allah (Glorified and Exalted be He)
Allâh sends His Salât (Graces, Honours, Blessings, Mercy) on the Prophet (Muhammad ﺻﻠﻰ ﺍﷲ ﻋﻠﻴﻪ ﻭﺳﻠﻢ), and also His angels (ask Allâh to bless and forgive him). O you who believe! Send your Salât on (ask Allâh to bless) him (Muhammad ﺻﻠﻰ ﺍﷲ ﻋﻠﻴﻪ ﻭﺳﻠﻢ), and (you should) greet (salute) him with the Islâmic way of greeting (salutation i.e. AsSalâmu 'Alaikum ).
When you hear the Mu'adhin (caller to Prayer), repeat what he says, then send blessings upon me, for whoever sends blessings upon me, Allah will send ten blessings upon them. Then ask Allah to grant me AlWasilah, which is a position in Jannah (Paradise) which will only be attained by one of the servants of Allah, and I hope that I will be this one. Whoever asks AlWasilah for me, my intercession will be granted for them.
O Allah, bless Muhammad and the family of Muhammad as You blessed Ibrahim (Abraham) and the family of Ibrahim. Verily You are Praiseworthy and Glorious. O! Allah, grant favor to Muhammad and the family of Muhammad as You granted favor to Ibrahim and the family of Ibrahim in the worlds. Verily You are Praiseworthy and Glorious.
